Having support is invaluable and makes a world of a difference.
It can even be the only thing that keeps someone afloat in their darkest days.
We gain strength and reinforcement from feeling connected.
Simply sharing with someone can bring a lot of healing.
Support can come from your friends, family, the community, and healthcare providers.
and there is also an abundance of spiritual support available to you
so you can reclaim your vitality and go back to fully living your life.
So let's look at how support helps you heal.
Now back in the old days, and I say old days,
that means like 10, 20 years ago, 30 years ago,
just going back that far,
when someone was dealing with a chronic illness,
so if they had mystery symptoms, neurological symptoms,
different types of anxiety depression support wasn't really widely available it just wasn't
times have changed times have changed greatly autoimmune disease is on the rise people are
dealing with lyme disease you know you're dealing with it you're dealing with chronic fatigue
syndrome you're dealing with fibromyalgia you're dealing with ra and multiple sclerosis or just
sinus problems or migraines or intestinal problems.
So you know, everything is kind of changing.
We have more and more of that every day.
So the purpose of the book that I put out is so we can stop that and get the answers people need.
But we also need things like support.
And that's why it's one of the steps.
That's really critical.
We need support.
And back in the old days when we had mystery symptoms and conditions,
we didn't get a lot of support from family or friends as much as we do now
because more and more people have it.
So the less people that had something going on with their health,
like a chronic health condition years ago, got less support.
So times are changing now.
We can open that door.
We can't be afraid to reach out.
the last thing we want anyone to do
who's suffering from a condition
or chronic illness
is to lock themselves away in a box
and avoid making contact with their family
making contact with their friends
and being involved with their community
in any way possible
I know that when you're not feeling good
and you may have lost work
or you've lost your career
or even lost friends in the past because you're not well,
I know how difficult that could be.
I really do.
But we can reclaim that.
We can get friends along the way.
We can ignite relationships with friends of the past.
We can connect to communities.
Support is that important.
Because we have the internet now,
We can get support on the internet very easily for all kinds of different illnesses, for our conditions, for everything.
Meaning other people that are going through hard times that like to share a little bit of prayer and they like to share a little bit of love and compassion.
So support works both ways.
Don't be afraid of mentioning to a friend how you're feeling about your illness or how you're feeling about your anxiety.
Don't be afraid of telling a family member because there may come a day where a family member or a friend may need to be telling you about something they need to talk about.
And then it's kind of the opposite direction where you can offer something to them.
So we want to keep connected because it serves our purpose, our purpose in just everything that we're about.
that gift that you have.
Remember the purpose step I was talking about?
Really, it's about the gift and the compassion,
about the intention, about being mindful,
about validating someone else as well.
It works both ways.
So what's good about reaching out
is you can help others at the same time
while you're going through something
and then your purpose grows stronger and stronger from it.
and their purpose will grow stronger and stronger from it too
and like I said in the past
a lot of people just hid how they felt
because very few people years and years ago had problems
now we have so many things on our plate
and there's so many people dealing with so many different challenges
in their health and emotional state
that it's important to stay connected
it really is
and sometimes loved ones, they may not want to hear about it.
There's some people, loved ones and family,
don't really understand it
because a doctor doesn't understand what's wrong with you.
So if you've been one of those where you've been to doctor and doctor
and really haven't gotten the answers you need
and you're still struggling or suffering,
but yet family members kind of believe the doctor but don't believe you,
if you're one of those, I'm so sorry you went through that
because there's still support out there.
if you don't have a friend to lean on to talk to
then we get online and we look at different support groups out there
just for that extra support
and you'll find that people actually will pray for you
they will, they'll pray for you out there
and you can pray for them
we just talked about prayer and how powerful it is
we cannot underestimate the power of support
and if you're someone who doesn't have too many friends
and you haven't found those friends yet,
remember, it's all about it coming too.
It's coming your way.
And you have to put some prayers out
and you have to have faith as well.
So you go to the faith step
and listen to that all over again
and the prayer step
and listen to that all over again
because these have a lot to do with support.
Because if it's friends that you need on board
as time goes on,
they're coming, they're out there.
They're soul friends out there.
that's what I call them, soul friends.
Soul friends are out there.
And they are waiting.
So prayer is important to try to ignite those soul friends that come to you.
So remember we were talking about prayer,
how you write a little prayer and you put it out there.
Let's put it out there that you want the soul friend
to really be there for you down the road.
And you'll be there for that soul friend as well.
So if you're someone that doesn't have anybody now,
we will work on it.
We'll work on it through prayer.
We'll pray to the angels.
That's right.
The angels of support.
We pray for the angels of faith.
We pray for the angels.
And what they're going to do is they're going to help.
They're going to help get you that support you need
and that reinforcement to stay connected.
It's important that you're validated.
So we can get validated through spirit.
We can get validated through God.
We can get validated through the angels.
if you don't have a family member that's validating your illness right now
or you feel you just can't say anything.
But I encourage you to speak out about your illness when you can.
You don't have to, you know, to everyone you feel like it, of course,
but you know who you can, where they'll listen and they'll validate.
There's someone that's there.
And like I said, if there isn't, we're going to make those people come.
people want to be involved with your life
even if it feels like you're in this situation where you're not well
and you're kind of disconnected
and if you are a person that's plenty connected and there's plenty community
build upon that and build upon that
absolutely because you know why?
because there's going to be somebody that's going to need you
someone that's going to need you and your support
maybe they were where you were at one time
We have to look out for each other.
It's all about creating that support.
So I want you to focus on this the best you can.
Take one day at a time.
The support is there.
You may even have a pet that's supporting you.
You may even have a dog or a cat or a horse.
And all of this in our lives is richness.
And it's wonderful and support.
So we can pray.
We can do our prayers.
We've got to start building our faith.
we have to start looking for avenues of support
you can join a church
you can join a community
there's so many avenues
to start building upon it
don't be shy
don't be afraid
don't be fearful
that no one would not
want to be involved with you
or
new people won't be involved
with you
they will, it will come
because you're very special
You have a gift.
You have a purpose.
You're very special.
You're needed.
And you also need others.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
And God's looking out for you.
The angels are looking out for you.
We just want to push forward into this a little bit deeper.
We want to push forward into it a little bit further.
We want to open up that door of support in any way we can.
Because support helps the body heal.
It helps you heal emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Thank you for listening.
We're going to move on to the next one.
I'm so proud of you.
See you on the next step.
